Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz who was born in Winona Minnesota. Parents of Winona Ryder named her for her hometown. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father came from a Jewish family Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Ryder has two half-siblings younger than her, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder was born in the United States and moved with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There, they didn't have electricity. Ryder was a voracious book reader because there was no TV. At the age of 12 years old, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. In 1986, she got her first role on the big screen in the movie Lucas she was only fifteen years old. Ryder suffered from bullying throughout highschool. Her professional acting, she believed to help, could have helped her. However, it didn't come be. However, she was determined to pursue the dreams she had. Her breakthrough occurred in the year 1988, when Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to play successful roles in various films. In 1993, she was awarded an Academy Awards for The Age of Innocence.
