Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Dana Haaughton gained fame after releasing the album she dubbed Age Ain't Nothing but a Number in 1994. She was only 15 at the time and the album was later renamed Gold. The album was a collaboration that was highly inspired by R. Kelly and it placed her in the spotlight. She collaborated in 1996 with Jermaine Dupri as well as Timbaland to release her second album One In A Million which included the top-rated hit song If You Only Knew. Aaliyah's second album called One in a million came out in the year 1996. It included the first song, a huge hit,"If You Girl Only Knew. Aaliyah was a part of the legendary martial artist Jet-Li in Romeo Must Die (2000), an action and romance film. The role was offered to her when she was spotted by film producer Joel Silver at an awards event. In 2002, she was in the vampire film Queen of the Damned based on the Anne Rice book. The year 2003 saw her was as a character in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. The actress was nominated for four times at the Grammy Awards in 1999, 2001 and 2002. Aarti Mann is from Indian origin and was born in Connecticut. Mann is the abbreviation used for her husband's first name Mankad. Aarti Magnumdar, her formal name. However, she is also known as Aarti Magumdar. Her acting career started in the the mid 2000's, with a few parts in movies and TV. Other than The Big Bang Theory her other most acclaimed works include Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017). She also appeared in several commercials that included Volvo and other major automobile companies. She is a resident of Los Angeles where she continues to work as an actor.
