Born on the 25th of November, 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is a energetic Canadian actress and singer celebrated for her notable contribution in American television. She is renowned for her stellar performances in the American TV series Law & Order where she impressed viewers for three seasons playing prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan in which she played protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy is also famous for her exceptional performances in RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. Other films comprise Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) and The Acting Class. Hennessy's acting career began in 1988, when she and her sister acted as twin callgirls in Dead Ringers. In 1990, she briefly made an appearance on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved into science-fiction and was Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The following year the biggest breakthrough came when she joined NBC's hit drama Law & Order to play District Attorney Assistant Claire Kincaid. She mesmerized audiences in this role for three seasons until her departure in 1996. Parker has been in many movies and television shows, such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys from the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. For these roles she received a Golden Globe Award in 2006 and an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker has also been the recipient from the year 2001 Tony Award for Best Actress in the Broadway play Proof.
