Nancy Wilson, a jazz musician and a three-time Grammy Award winner was born in Chillicothe, Ohio 20 February 1937, to Olden Wilson, an ironworker who had worked for a long period as housekeeper. Nancy Wilson was youngest child of six. Her father's love of music and the records he played at home were a huge influence on Nancy as a young girl. It was clear that she wanted to become a performer by the time she was four years old and developed her skills by performing in the choir at church.
