Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
The Jazz performer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born February 20, 1937, in Chillicothe Ohio to iron-worker Olden Wilson, and former Lillian Ryan who worked as domestic helper. Nancy was the youngest of six children. Nancy grew up listening to her dad's records and his love for music. When she was four, she knew she wanted to be an accomplished musician. She developed her musical talent through participating in choirs of the church. In high school when she started appearing regularly on Skyline Melodies. She was 15 when she was crowned the winner of the TV talent show. That same year, Nancy began working in nightclubs. Nancy was 17 when she graduated from high-school and matriculated at Ohio Central State College (now Central State University) for one year, before deciding to become a singer. The first album she recorded was with Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956. They performed from 1956 until 1958. Nancy made her debut album through Dot Records during the time she spent with this group. Cannonball Aderley suggested that she move to New York so as to enhance her career. In 1959 she moved in The Big Town. Within a short time she began singing at The Blue Morocco Night Club situated on Boston Road near The Bronx. The representative of Adderley heard her sing and immediately took her on. In 1960, he signed her to Capitol Records and in that same year she released her debut single. Guess who saw today. Capitol published five Nancy Wilson records in just two years. Following the influence of Adderley the singer-songwriter shifted her focus away from R&B to jazz. The 1962 group collaboration of Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley was instrumental in propelling her to prominence and she had her breakout smash Tell Me the Truth in 1963. It was this performance that led her to a spot at New York Coconut Grove in 1963, America's most popular nightclub.

The degree she earned was of Anthropology/Archaeology. Maisie began her career acting in the short film Our First World in the year 2012. Ellie was her character in 2013's short film Americano and Rum. She was cast in a brief cameo role as Korr Sella in the 2015 film Short Wars : The Force is awakening. The actress portrayed Chloe Winthrop in Netflix's original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 & 3.
